Frequently Asked Questions

Thirty plain answers for owners and residents.

What is Silvercrest Management?

Silvercrest Management looks after homes that were acquired or controlled through Terms Deal Academy agent deals, such as lease options, sandwich lease options, subject-to and owner financing. After a deal, Silvercrest is the company that owners and residents contact. Silvercrest Management does not hold a real estate or property management license in any state.

How does Silvercrest relate to the agent who made me an offer?

The Terms Deal Academy agent finds the deal and negotiates it with you. Silvercrest is the management brand you and the resident deal with afterward. Offer emails may come from Silvercrest on the agent's behalf, and replies go to the agent.

How do I get a portal account?

Sign up or sign in at portal.silvercrestmanagement.com. Your property appears once our team links it to your account. If you do not see it, email [email protected] with the property address. We are adding invitation emails and a property claim request, and will say so here when they are live.

What can I do in the owner portal today?

You can see the properties linked to your account, open maintenance tickets with comments and one photo, send messages to Silvercrest, and read documents that our team has added for your property, such as leases, statements and notices.

What are you adding to the portal?

We are adding a property updates timeline, in-app and email notifications, a resources library and a resident home page. Until they are live, check the portal and email us if you are waiting on something.

How do I report a problem at my property?

Open a ticket in the portal. Choose a category (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliance, structural, pest, landscaping or other), an urgency (low, normal, high or emergency), add a description and one photo if you can. A ticket does not send an instant alert yet, so for anything urgent, call us as well.

What do I do in an emergency?

If anyone is in danger, call 911 (or the gas or utility emergency line) first. Then call (307) 401-8664 and open a ticket marked emergency. A ticket marked emergency does not page anyone by itself, so the phone call matters.

How do I reach a person?

Call (307) 401-8664, email [email protected], send a message in the portal, or open a ticket. For anything that matters, put it in writing as well so there is a record.

How fast will you reply?

We reply as soon as we can, in the order messages arrive. We do not publish a response time, and we would rather say so than promise one we cannot keep. If you call and reach voicemail, also send an email or open a ticket.

What does Silvercrest charge?

Fees depend on the property and the agreement. Your Terms Deal Academy agent and our team will explain them before you sign anything. This website does not list fees.

Is Silvercrest licensed?

Silvercrest Management does not hold a real estate or property management license in any state. Many states require a license for managing property for others. Our Licensing by State page explains how we approach each state and what we confirm before we take over a property.

What about insurance?

Ask us to confirm insurance details for your property. We do not make general statements about insurance on this site.

Can you tell me whether my deal is safe or legal?

No. We do not give legal advice and we do not judge whether an agreement is right for you. Have an attorney of your choice review any agreement before you sign it.

What if I feel rushed, pressured or confused about my agreement?

Slow down. Nobody should rush you to sign. Write to us at [email protected] or call (307) 401-8664, say what is worrying you, and keep a copy of everything you send and receive.

Can residents and I message each other directly?

No. Messages in the portal go through Silvercrest. Each user has one thread with us, and we relay what needs to be passed on, so no one has to share personal contact details.

How do I sign in to the resident portal?

Go to portal.silvercrestmanagement.com and sign in or sign up. Your home appears once our team links it to your account. If it does not, email [email protected] with your address.

How do I ask for a repair?

Open a ticket in the portal. Pick a category, set an urgency, describe the problem and add one photo if you can. You can follow the status and add comments.

What should I put in a maintenance request?

What is wrong, when it started and whether it is getting worse. Add a photo, your availability and any access notes such as a gate code or pets in the home. Plain details help us understand the job.

What do the ticket statuses mean?

Open means we have the request. Scheduled means a visit or next step is set. In progress means work has started. Resolved means the request is closed. You can add comments at any point.

What do I do in an emergency?

If anyone is in danger, call 911 (or the gas or utility emergency line) first. Then call (307) 401-8664 and open a ticket marked emergency.

It is urgent but not dangerous. What should I do?

Open a ticket, mark the urgency high, and call us. A ticket does not send an instant alert yet, so the phone call is how we hear about it fastest.

How do I message Silvercrest?

Use the message center in the portal. You have one thread with us. We do not send an email alert when a message arrives yet, so for anything time-sensitive, also email or call.

Where are my lease and notices?

Documents our team has added for your home, such as your lease and notices, appear in the portal under Documents.

How do I pay rent?

Follow the payment instructions in your lease. The portal does not take rent payments. If anything is unclear, ask us at [email protected] before you send money, and do not pay anyone who contacts you out of the blue.

Can I fix small problems myself?

Some, yes. Our DIY Fixes page covers simple jobs and says when to stop and call us. Never work on gas, the electrical panel or wiring, or anything you are unsure about.

Who pays for a repair?

That depends on your lease and the law in your state, so we do not answer it in general. Ask us about your specific situation.

How do I call you, and what happens if nobody answers?

Call (307) 401-8664. You hear a short menu, and the call rings our team line. If nobody picks up you can leave a voicemail. Also send an email or open a ticket so there is a written record.

How do I apply to rent a home?

Email [email protected] with the home you are interested in. We will tell you the steps for that property. This website does not list application fees or requirements.

Who can see my information?

Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and how it is used. Messages in the portal go through Silvercrest, so owners and residents do not message each other directly.

Is Silvercrest the same as my landlord?

Silvercrest looks after homes acquired or controlled through Terms Deal Academy agent deals. Your lease says who your landlord is. If you are unsure who to contact about something, start with us and we will point you the right way.

Still have a question?

Send us a message in the portal or email [email protected]. We reply as soon as we can.
